Not every day in AlUla needs a packed schedule. With “AlUla, Your Way,” guests receive a private 4x4 vehicle and a local guide for eight hours, allowing them to explore AlUla according to their own interests and pace. Guests may focus on heritage sites, natural landscapes, farms, local markets, cafes, photography locations, peaceful viewpoints, or a combination of experiences. The guide can also recommend the best possible route based on available timings, weather, distances and guest preferences. The experience may begin from the guest's accommodation or AlUla Airport and ends at an agreed location within AlUla. The itinerary remains flexible throughout the day, subject to site tickets, entry schedules, permits, weather conditions and operational feasibility. This experience is ideal for solo travellers, couples, small families and guests who prefer a private alternative to fixed group tours.

Meeting point and start of the clock
The guide meets the guests at their accommodation or AlUla Airport, and the eight hours begin from the agreed meeting time.
Agreeing the day's route
Review guest interests, pre-booked tickets, site timings and weather, then confirm the order of stops together.
First stops
Move through the chosen stops — heritage, natural formations, farms or photography spots — at the guest's own pace.
Lunch or coffee break
A stop at a restaurant or cafe of the guest's choosing within AlUla. Orders are at the guest's expense and are not part of the experience.
Afternoon stops
Continue or adjust the route with the guide according to the remaining time and site entry schedules.
The closing view
A quiet stop or photography location towards the end of the day, depending on season, light and remaining time.
Drop-off and close
Return to the agreed location within AlUla and the end of the service period.

Is the price per person or per vehicle?
The price is per vehicle: SAR 2,190 including 15% VAT, seating one to four guests. The number of guests does not change the price.
Can we book more than one vehicle?
Yes. Each vehicle is a separate unit deducted from the day's availability, with an operational limit of five vehicles per day. Booking three vehicles leaves two available, and once five are taken the day is full.
What language does the guide speak?
The experience is available in Arabic and English. Choosing the guide's language is required before the booking is confirmed, not after, and the day is only assigned to a guide who supports the selected language.
Where does the day start and end?
It starts at your accommodation within AlUla, or at AlUla Airport when that falls within the service hours, and ends at an agreed location within AlUla. The eight hours begin at the agreed meeting time, and any delay on the guest's side counts towards the service period.
What day styles can I choose from?
Five styles: History and stories · Nature and landscapes · AlUla in quiet · First time in AlUla · Build my own day. These are interests rather than fixed routes, and more than one may be combined — note the others in your booking notes.
Are site tickets included?
No. Site tickets and reservations for Hegra, Dadan, Jabal Ikmah or any site requiring a permit sit outside the experience and must be booked in advance. The guide cannot guarantee entry to a site that is full or unavailable.
Is the itinerary fixed?
No. The itinerary is flexible rather than a fixed programme, and the order of stops changes with weather, opening hours, tickets, distances and permits. The guide follows only safe and legally permitted routes — this is not an off-road driving tour or a visit to unpermitted areas.
Can the day be extended?
Yes, by an extra hour at SAR 250, arranged with the CHAPTERS team in advance and subject to guide and vehicle availability. No extension takes place without prior approval and payment.
What about children and child seats?
Please state the number of guests and their ages when booking. A child seat must be requested in advance and is subject to availability; also tell us about any mobility needs or elderly guests so the stops can be chosen accordingly.
What if the pickup is from the airport?
Share your flight number, expected arrival time and the number and size of bags in advance, so the vehicle can accommodate both luggage and guests.
Who may travel in the vehicle?
The vehicle is for the guests named in the booking only, and the vehicle's legal capacity may not be exceeded. The vehicle model may be changed to an equivalent or higher one where operationally necessary.
