Nostalgia returns for its fourth consecutive season as CHAPTERS’ most requested group journey in AlUla.

Nostalgia is a three-day adults-only journey that brings together AlUla's landscape, its historical memory, and quiet moments of hospitality. It begins in Madinah, then unfolds between the Harrat viewpoint, Dahaleez, Hegra & Ancient Kingdoms, Elephant Rock at sunset, the Old Town and Maraya — inside one clear, well-paced programme. The resort is booked in full and exclusively for Nostalgia guests, and a licensed tour guide plus a CHAPTERS host accompany the group throughout. The experience covers hospitality, transfers, set meals, photography and carefully designed keepsakes, with a clear choice between shared and private accommodation.

Welcome and the arrival bag
Guests are met at the Haramain train station in Madinah. The journey opens with a CHAPTERS welcome bag holding selected pieces and surprises designed to travel with the guest.
Setting off for AlUla
Departure in the vehicle sized to the group, with snacks and bottled water along the way.
Check-in and lunch
Arrival at the resort, suites handed over and check-in completed before activities begin, followed by a live-grill lunch.
Sunset at the Harrat viewpoint
Out to the Harrat viewpoint to watch the sun go down.
Firepit and stargazing
Back at the resort for the firepit and a stargazing session led by a specialist astronomy guide.
Dinner and letters under the stars
Dinner under starlight, then each guest writes a letter to themselves. The letters are kept in the CHAPTERS / Nostalgia archive, and a returning guest can retrieve or reread their own letter later.
Breakfast at Pink Camel
The day opens with the breakfast included in the package — a set menu at Pink Camel Pastry Boutique.
Dahaleez
A fixed part of the programme, among AlUla's mountains.
Rest and a Saudi lunch
Back to the resort to rest, then an authentic local Saudi meal that changes with the season.
Hegra & Ancient Kingdoms
A historical tour of two and a half to three hours through Hegra and the legacy of the ancient kingdoms.
Elephant Rock at sunset
A sunset visit, with a professional photography session included in the package.
Free time in the Old Town
Dinner is not included. CHAPTERS recommends restaurants and arranges the booking free of charge on request; the guest pays the restaurant directly.
Back for the night
Return to the resort for the night.
Breakfast at Pink Camel
The morning opens with the breakfast included in the package.
Shallal cafe
Coffee at Shallal cafe, among AlUla's mountains.
Bags and check-out
Back to the resort to collect luggage and complete check-out.
Maraya
On to Maraya for keepsake photographs.
The road back to Madinah
The AlUla programme closes and the group sets off for Madinah, with a burger lunch on the way.
Arrival and farewell
Arrival in Madinah is expected in the evening and shifts with traffic, stops and operating conditions. At the close of the journey each guest receives an editorially printed postcard — a single Nostalgia front, with a back personalised with their name and a message.

Where is the meeting point?
The base pickup is at the Haramain train station in Madinah. An optional pickup from AlUla Airport is available at SAR 299 per vehicle.
What is the minimum for the trip to run?
8 guests, with a maximum of 15. If the minimum is not met, guests are notified 72 hours before departure with the choice of a full refund or moving to another date.
What are the accommodation options?
Shared accommodation is for women only; each suite sleeps two guests and has its own bathroom. Men and couples book a private suite inside the same resort at SAR 4,499 per person.
Is the trip suitable for children?
No — the journey is adults only, with a minimum age of 18.
What about allergies and dietary needs?
They must be disclosed at least 72 hours before the trip. If the set menu does not suit a guest, the CHAPTERS host arranges and coordinates an alternative.
What vehicle is used?
It depends on the number of guests — a van for larger groups or a GMC for smaller ones. The booking is not tied to a specific vehicle model.
When do the photographs arrive?
They are delivered digitally within 24 hours: 10 edited professional portraits per guest, with group photos extra and not counted among the ten. Printed photographs are available for an additional fee.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellation with a refund is possible up to 10 days before the departure date; cancellation within the final 10 days is non-refundable.
What happens after the trip?
A CHAPTERS experience survey arrives within 24 hours of the trip ending. On completing it the guest receives a discount code for a future trip or experience, alongside the digital CHAPTERS AlUla Guide.
